Amazon to Launch Satellite Internet in Pakistan by 2026

In a major technological breakthrough for Pakistan’s digital future, Amazon has announced plans to bring satellite internet services to the country by 2026. The development was revealed during a strategic meeting between Pakistan’s Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, and a delegation from Amazon’s Project Kuiper — the company’s ambitious satellite internet initiative.

The introduction of Amazon’s satellite internet aims to expand high-speed connectivity to even the most remote areas of Pakistan, bridging the digital divide and boosting the country’s digital economy. This initiative is expected to support e-commerce growth, online education, and innovation across multiple sectors.

With Project Kuiper’s entry, Pakistan is poised to join the next generation of global internet infrastructure — setting the stage for faster, more reliable, and inclusive digital access nationwide.
